The Armchair Catholic
A Catholic Podcast for the Everyday Catholic
Do you consider yourself an ordinary Catholic just trying to live the faith?
Do you have a favorite place to relax at home?
Congrats, The Armchair Catholic was made for you.
We’re three guys who deeply love being Catholic. So much so that we made careers out of serving the Church’s mission. But we’re also regular guys that enjoy the good life: family, sports, camping, a good bourbon, the occasional cigar, etc. We don’t see those as opposites but deeply connected and fulfilling. Each week we talk about life, our faith, and how this all gets weaved together in this journey to the homeland. We’re honored that you’d like to be a part of that. Thanks for visiting and God bless!

Church and Culture with Deal Hudson
Church and Culture engages all aspects of our culture with the aim of discussing “cultural apologetics.” Culture is discussed from a Catholic perspective in order to provide opportunities for Catholics to introduce the faith to others through a book, a movie, a TV show, a piece of music, a political issue, or an artist, among other things. The Church speaks through culture, and while there is much in our culture to be avoided, there is much that can witness to the Catholic faith. On each program, Dr. Hudson interviews noted experts in their fields, providing insight and guidance in our evangelical engagement with the culture.

 Catching Foxes!
Luke and Gomer became friends Freshman year at the Franciscan University of Steubenville and 14 years later they started a podcast. The show oscillates between a conversation between just the two of us and interviews that we do together of other, fancier people. Sometimes we get explicit either by being too honest or by being too stupid. Either way, it's fun!

The Holy Ruckus
““I hope there will be a ruckus… I want you to make yourselves heard in your dioceses, I want the ruckus to go out, I want the Church to go out onto the streets, I want us to resist everything worldly, everything static, everything comfortable… everything that might make us closed in on ourselves.”” — -Pope Francis, World Youth Day 2013, Rio de Janeiro

This call to Evangelize is what we at The Holy Ruckus stand for. Through our blogs, videos, podcasts, memes, and products we hope you find something that inspires you to live your faith loud. We hope to seek out the seekers, the wanderers who are making moves to dive into their faith or leave it.

The Holy Ruckus is a community of messy believers not polished saints. A holy irreverence is what the Church needs to reach out to the margins and to shake out the stiffness. May the fruit of our work inspire you to challenge yourself, bolster your faith, and keep you grounded to Christ in your streets.  The Holy Ruckus is what the Church needs, a movement that makes a ruckus in your Church, in your diocese, and in the world!

Intensely Catholic w/Fr. Mike Mayer (Podbean)
A blog that presents information about the Catholic Church, its teachings, and the joys of being Catholic.

It's a Catholic Faith Life Podcast,

The John 3:30 Podcast
Greetings and welcome to The John 3:30 Podcast, we focus on Catholic Faith Life. The goal is to share different ways people keep their fire burning for our Catholic Faith. I have seen firsthand many people attend a Retreat or go through a traumatic Life Event and it brings them closer to their faith. For a moment. They are hungry for more. Unfortunately, not too long after, many return to their “old ways.” I firmly believe this happens because they do not know what they do not know. They may not be aware that they can attend Adoration, pray a Novena, or any other beautiful ways our Catholic Faith offers us the opportunity to grow in our Faith. My thought process is to sit down and speak with “everyday” people and have a conversation with them as to how they keep their fire burning for our Catholic Faith.  Like what you hear? If you would like to help contribute to the growth of The John 3:30 Podcast, click here to donate one time or monthly. Your Patronage is greatly appreciated!!

The Understanding the Scriptures podcast, by Carson Weber, based on Scott Hahn's book of (I think) the same name.
The Understanding the Scriptures Podcast is composed of 30 episodes with each episode having a length between 72 and 80 minutes. It has had hundreds of thousands of listeners and has been accessed from almost every country in the world. It receives hundreds of downloads every day of the week.
The equation: “The power of the Internet” + “a great Bible study” = WIN!
It is a recording of a real Bible study that took place at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Brenham, TX between the fall of 2006 and the spring of 2007. That's over 10 years ago... but the content is as timely as ever.
Each episode/class covers one of the 30 chapters in the textbook titled “Understanding the Scriptures,” by Dr. Scott Hahn (this textbook is part of the Didache series). Listeners to the podcast do not need to purchase this textbook, though it would be beneficial to purchase a copy and follow along.
The course follows the plan of Salvation History from Genesis to Jesus and demonstrates the unity of God’s salvific plan throughout the Old Testament, into the New Testament, and even through to today. The author and teacher of the study is Carson Weber, M.A.

Who is the Man of the Shroud?
Join us for a brand new podcast dedicated to the ongoing examination and exploration of the mysteries of the Shroud of Turin!
Is it a religious icon produced by some process unknown to the 21st century? Is it the authentic burial shroud of Jesus Christ?
The series is brought to you by Shroud scholars Fr. Peter Mangum, Rector of the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans in Shreveport, LA, and Dr. Cheryl White, history professor at Louisiana State University-Shreveport. Both Fr. Mangum and Dr. White are members of the American Confraternity of the Holy Shroud – the only authorized affiliate of the Archconfraternity of Turin, curators of the Shroud since 1597. They have both trained at the Shroud Center of Colorado with the noted Dr. John Jackson, who headed the 1978 Shroud of Turin Research Project.
